New Hudson-based Feldman Automotive Group today officially opened its 19th dealership — Feldman Jeep of Clarkston — the first free-standing Jeep dealership in southeast Michigan.
Representatives from Feldman Automotive Group, the Jeep brand, and the city of Clarkston participated in the ribbon cutting at 8731 Dixie Highway in Clarkston.
“This new, free-standing Jeep store captures the heritage and the imagination of the Jeep brand and its enthusiasts,” says Jay Feldman, CEO of the Feldman Automotive Group. “We are paving a new path for future Jeep consumers.”
Construction on the 16,000-square-foot building began in 2021 and is authentically Jeep in its design and décor, according to Feldman. The dealership is a destination for a large selection of Jeep vehicles of every model and is staffed with trained sales specialists that are knowledgeable about the Jeep brand and its models.
“Jay and his team at Feldman Automotive Group have created something very special at this new location,” says Christian Meunier, CEO of Jeep Brand. “This store perfectly aligns with our vision to create a Jeep experience that is pure and authentic for Jeep customers.”
The new Jeep store is located directly across the street on Dixie Hwy in Clarkston from the original Feldman Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram store, which opened in December 2020. The exclusive Jeep store features a large service garage with 12 service bays staffed by service technicians who are trained and certified exclusively on Jeep brand vehicles. The store will employ more than 60 employees.
